This is a key role within an ever growing team, with your day to day role consisting of:

  • Supporting the Buyer/Business Development Manager in the day to day buying role and administration
  • Many key aspects of the beauty box buying function and its administration which has a direct impact on the success and profitability of the category.
  • You will be actively involved in all areas of the business and working with other team members at all levels including senior management
  • Contact with external customers and suppliers
  • Handle brand enquiries, updating brand database, quantifying lead strength and potential
  • Competitor checking across all sites
  • Assist with booking brand sales meetings including initial meetings and face-to-face time alongside buying appointments
  • Administering and ensuring the buying database is managed and kept up to date
  • Enlist the involvement of design staff, traders, buying and marketing to complete tasks

About The Opportunity:

As E-commerce Assistant you will have overall responsibility for assisting the Beauty Box team to deliver the very best beauty innovations to our subscribers each month. In terms of business development and you will be required to:


  • Manage the beauty box site product content and strive to continually improve the customer journey. Maintain and create online assets to reflect/maintain the premium positioning within the market
  • Submit and execute artwork briefs for digital, magazine and print and liaise with designers to bring an idea to life. 
  • Design and schedule email campaigns to re-target effectively and improve conversion and profitability
  • Monitor the competitive landscape, beauty innovations and emerging brands to keep us ahead of the curve
  • Transmit your passion for beauty into finding key influencers to seek out the top bloggers and vloggers
  • Check beauty box stock levels to allow best in class customer experience and maintain availability onsite by reporting to the beauty box team/Operations Manager
  • Work in synergy with the rest of the THG international team to identify new growth opportunities and ways in which to improve our brand reputation and presence
  • Work closely with design and editorial teams to brief and build engaging product pages that provide the customer with relevant information, advice and conversion opportunity
  • Assist with the compilation of daily/monthly reports for stakeholders
  • Using our in-house data & technology platform, with over 10 million customers and 360 million unique visitors per annum, we can share valuable insights on customer behaviour and trends

Requirements

We are looking for School leavers with a strong academic track record plus an:

  • Interest in business development

The Main Responsibilities of the Content and Social Media Manager:

  • Manage the integrated planning and delivery of social campaigns
  • Ensure that you achieve social media objectives against KPI’s
  • Have a creative ethos in order to produce unique and effective content
  • Use a responsible judgement on what content can be used to extend brand reach
  • Monitor the social media channels on a daily basis in order to respond to comments and react to news within the industry
  • Manage and lead the content calendar
  • Create onsite content to help paid campaign conversion
  • Liaise with the paid team to develop content according to commercial objectives

REQUIREMENTS

  • Leadership of Content and social executives
  • Strong content generation skills
  • Demonstrable experience of running paid social campaigns
  • An awareness and the skills to plan strategic long-term brand content and social media campaigns
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Social Media Marketing
  • Outstanding attention to detail
